Okay, so my dad is doing a thing called charing. Apparently its a Mexican thing. No anything 'bout it?

    I'm pretty sure that "charring" is another word for "burning". Blech.

    Personally, I am not a fan of the charring. I prefer my food to not taste burnt. But your Dad probably cooks about 10x more than I do, so I think you should give it a try.
